And so our relationship sank like the Titanic
only this time on love's high seas
and now has sunk below the waves
to be forgotten about by all

There was so much expectation
when we first started out
thought we could be invincible
that this could be the one

But of course we struck an iceberg
made of your family and friends
punched a huge hole where it could not be fixed
you buckled under the pressure
and let the lies flow in

And so our relationship sank like the Titanic
only this time on love's high seas
no survived the sinking
and the wreck will never be found
