#396 Faster Than Fast Poem by Jimmie Arrington

#396 Faster Than Fast

Another year has passed us by,
It seems it came just yesterday.
Time does not only seem to fly
But rush and speed away.
I would ask how or maybe why
But answers are often blank and gray.

The world spins on and on, faster than fast.
The future's ahead and the past is passed.

The good times will remain inside,
The bad will dissolve and fade.
The days of youth run and hide;
We gain wisdom, a fair trade.
In time the days and hours collide
And life will become a grave charade.

Soon another year will arrive and commence,
And again we'll begin trying to make sense.

Jimmie - I agree and they say the older you get the faster it goes.
