See the happy family
A happy family with two Muslim fathers
Their names are Muhammad and Waheed
They were married in NYC
They are raising a daughter
In the Christian faith
Her name is Ishah.

Muhammad and Waheed have diversity parties
They have a Jewish friend named Abraham
They have a Buddist friend named Hin Lu
They have a scientologist friend named Tom
They have a Catholic friend named Benedict
They have very few unhappy friends
Most of their friends are carefree and gay
Their parties are almost like an extended family.

See Muhammad and Ishah at the airport
They are waving good-by to Waheed
Waheed is visiting his mother and father in Pakistan
Waheed will be back next week
Muhammad and Ishah will be sad until then.

See Muhammad reading a telegram from Pakistan
See great big tears well up in his eyes
He is crying and greatly upsetting Ishah
Ishah also reads the telegram and starts to cry.

WAHEED DEAD...THROWN OFF HIGH BUILDING..
FOR ACTING FEMININE IN KABUL.

The word spreads through all their NYC friends
All gather with flowers and condolences.

Muhammad has fallen in love with Abraham
Abraham has fallen in love with Muhammad
See Muhammad and Abraham get married
At a great big civic wedding
In NYC with all their carefree and gay friends
And a few unhappy ones too.

Ishah is happy
She now has a Muslim and Jewish father
And she has love.
