.4. Blooming Great Poem by David Threadgold

.4. Blooming Great

Plant pots on patios
All full of blooms
Some will come inside
To brighten our rooms

All grown from seed
Look the same as the packet
I like a carnation
To put in my jacket

Sweet peas climbing canes
Marigolds in a bucket
My pansy has wilt
So I’ll just have to chuck it

I tend them each day
Yes I water them fine
And the sun does the rest
When it chooses to shine
