I’ve started a brand new fitness regime
Today I went out for a jog
My neighbour I passed from next door
Was taking a walk with his dog
I ran like the clappers going up hill
Cruised when going down dale
On reaching the outskirts of town
At the crossroads I turned without fail
On the way back I got slower
My energies started to drain
But I pushed myself on to my limit
Until I got home once again
Where I collapsed in a heap on the sofa
My wife and the kids started teasing
How fit their old man looked this morning
With all of that coughing and wheezing
