.4. How Many Times Poem by David Threadgold

.4. How Many Times

How many times
Must I stand here and wait
For a train to arrive
Yet again running late

How many times
Must I listen to lies?
Untruth clearly seen
In the own tellers eyes

How many times
Must I have to be told?
That I don’t understand
Am I getting to old?

How many times
Must I right someone’s wrong
Forever I think
Cos It’s where I belong
