What caused the fight in the farmyard?
As soon as old Joe turned his back
A ram charged at two giant porkers
One left with an eye turning black
Three chickens pecked at the cockerel
While geese chased a sleepy black cat
The sheepdog hid under a tractor
Beside a bewildered brown rat
A shire horse reared up in his stable
And kicked at a mouse on the door
That once kept him safely protected
But now lay in bits on the floor
What could have caused such commotion?
To fight was there really a need
I think maybe Joe was the problem
Forgetting to leave them their feed
