413. Poem by Jaden Knight

413.

And so you led an army into my heart
to pillage and burn what you could find
all you found were houses of stone
with no easy way to enter

Your troops began to fall around you
as one is pierced with many arrows
the attackers become the attacked
even though they are unable to see the archers

Your forces are depleted and destroyed
none remain that are able to fight
rather than surrender you choose to flee
and so make your retreat alone

You led an army into my heart
to pillage and burn what you could find
instead you were faced with no way in
as you were defeated outside the houses of stone
