441. In The Fields Of Daisies Poem by Jaden Knight

441. In The Fields Of Daisies

And in the field of daisies we danced
laughing as we did so
until we got dizzy and fell down
the plants cushioning our fall

we lay back and watched the white clouds
racing overhead in the near perfect blue sky
calling out what we could see in them
while we mostly saw different things
the heart was obvious to both of us
it seemed to hang above our heads for hours
before eventually drifting away

The bees buzzed happily around us
seeming to dance to the song of the birds
chirping happily in trees by the gate
an unforgettable symphony of love and joy

we don't leave the field until the sun goes down
and the last rays shine upon our faces
and even if we never return to the field
the memories will remain with us forever
