I will be happy to walk with you side by side
as someone who is my friend
together we can help each other as equals
until we both have reached the end

I cannot show you or lead the way
as I am already hopelessly lost
I never learnt how to read the map
I refuse to be your boss

Please don't expect me to follow your lead
I will not do all that you say
am not the most obedient type
and each of us has our own way

But I will be happy to walk with you side by side
