45 - Mercy Me

Rating: 5.0

Waiting in the chapel
With blood on my white dress
Mercy me mother Mary
I’ve come to confess

He told me that he loved me
But then he changed his mind
How could I have missed the lies?
How could I have been so blind?

I thought I had found the right man
But he threw our love away
I thought I found a good man
But he didn’t want to stay

I don’t know what came over me
As my eyes turned devil red
My once perfect right man
I’ve now marked for dead

I’m standing at the alter
As I go down on bended knee
I’m asking you Mother Mary
Will you please forgive me?

the gift of GOOD-BYE. And then things in life improve, move on and get better; from that sweet 'touch' of fate.
