I’ve always liked a bargain
Searched long to save a pound
I compromise on what I want
Make do with what I’ve found
I went to buy an overcoat
It could have cost a packet
The only way he’d knock some off
Was if I bought a jacket
I tried a deal on track suits
Having always liked my sports
My offer caused a riot
The salesman brought me shorts
Undeterred I tried again
Take something off that blazer
The salesman cut the buttons off
With a rusty cut throat razor
This wasn’t going as I’d planned
Could I have met my match?
I asked him what five pound would buy
And I bought an elbow patch
