Mix your palette
Blend your paint
Some quite bold
Leave others faint

Choose a canvas
For your art
Place on easel
Then you start

Sit up straight
Don’t arch back
Use more white
Less on black

View your subject
From each side
Some parts slim
Whilst others wide

Take a line
From sitters eyes
And a masterpiece
Will soon arise
