.5. Rich Ideas Poem by David Threadgold

.5. Rich Ideas

Rating: 5.0

If I could win a million pounds
Knowing then what I know now
If I could spend it wisely
By showing others how

If I could teach mankind a way
To find their path to pave
If I could know what makes man tick
Or what could make man save

If I could use my winnings
Helping others with their health
If I could cure the ills of man
By giving up my wealth

If I could settle arguments
That often lead to war
If I could stop the greedy sort
From coming back for more

If I could start a business
Paying only what man’s worth
If I could make these ideas work
They might just save our earth
