I rung the council up today
My boilers still not fit
The heating doesn’t work at all
They’re looking into it
The plaster cracks are spreading
Above me where I sit
I’ve told them many times before
They’re looking into it
My cistern needs a ball valve
Plumber came without the bit
And when I rang to chase it up
They’re looking into it
Inspector called to check the work
It made me want to spit
I told him nothing had been done
They’re looking into it
I think I’ve found the answer
Outside they dug a pit
Where all the councils workers
Stood looking into it
