639. Your Arrogance Is Like A Blindfold Poem by Jaden Knight

639. Your Arrogance Is Like A Blindfold

Your arrogance is like a blindfold
wrapping tightly around your head
cutting off what you should be viewing
and showing only what you want to see

Obstacles and ditches litter your path
waiting patiently for you to fall
they would have been easy to see and avoid
if you had only been confident

If you can only see what you wish to
then you will never reach your target
you are supposed to learn from failure
not rush stupidly into the same mistakes

As you sit on the ground battered and bruised
only then will you discover the truth
confidence is all very well to see with
but your arrogance is like a blindfold
