ब्रज भूमि अति सुहावन लागे
गाऊं प्रभु के गीत हर प्रहर
काहे मैं आयो इस धरा पर
किसने मुझे बुलायो।

कौन सा जनम का कर्ज हुए
जो मैं ने जनम लियाे
या फिर कोई है कार्य अनूठा
जिसे हमें करने पड़ो ।

जो भी कार्य है पूरण करने
हे प्रभु मदद करो
मुक्ति मुझे दो इस धरा से
कित दिन और जिओ।

The land of Braj feels so enchanting;
I sing the Lord's praises at every hour.
Why have I come to this earth?
Who was it that summoned me here?

Is it a debt from a past life
That caused me to be born?
Or is there some unique task
That I am destined to fulfill?

Whatever task must be accomplished,
O Lord, please grant me Your aid.
Grant me liberation from this earthly realm;
How much longer must I go on living?
