Always read the small print
Those many does and don’t
So many limitations set
Turn endless wills to won’ts

Take care and look for loopholes
They burrow through each page
Where liabilities can run
To escape investors rage

The use of clever wording
Impress but hide a threat
To confuse unwary punters
By reducing what they get

Just view it as a product
Like a humble loaf of bread
Sliced up without a wrapper on
That’s what the contract said

The thing can’t hold together
Plus someone’s nicked the crust
Taxation took the biggest slice
Before the loaf went bust

Make sure you get a whole one
Unsliced and in proportion
In clear and simple English
Avoiding mass distortion

By reading all the small print
You’ll get the bigger slice
And if not sure the first time
Then read the whole thing twice
