If I could cure your ills with a song
I would sing the one that is in my heart
while I may be out of tune I mean every word
at least when I try for you

If I could fix all your problems with my deeds
I would work tirelessly in your name
even if I was to fall and not get up
I would do what I could for you

Ever would I be by your side
as whatever you needed me to be
in life or death protecting you
and giving you whatever you need

As a both a friend and brother I would do what I can
to make you laugh and smile every day
even if it meant stilling my own heart forever
so that yours can carry on beating
