77 - I Lie Still Before Leaving

I'm no more i'm not breathing
I know i'll be happy soon
I'm lying still before leaving
Alone in an empty room

Lying sprawled out on my bed
A pained expression on my face
Empty thoughts that fill my head
I float within my death space

I let go looking, at the ceiling
A blank stare invades my eyes
My cold blue skin starts pealing
Undead tears and breathless sighs

Nobody knows that i'm leaving
No note i have penned
Nobody to leave grieving
No one to see me at my end

The screaming sound of the dial tone
I join the rest of the damned
The loss of grip upon the phone
Held within my cold dead hands

My blood drains to the floor
While my soul crosses the vale
My heart pleads no more
I turn a whiter shade of pale
