(Do not swear, here is your redemption.)

You are so calm and full of grace
A winner of our IQ race
With flair and fire and fairness of face
I want to stay forever with you in this place.

Our muddy bags and tired eyes
Feet that tell what we can't phrase
If I flatter too much it's only because
I am in awe of you.

An era ago I would have looked to the left
Endured a conversation, not partaken,
Of your extended arms
But time flies, she dies, I'll walk in her steps
And hope I have replaced her charms.

Piano Bar, you sang so sweet
You would have been a miracle to meet
Sashay around the baby grand, give them a tune by the light of the moon,
But remember who you come home to,
And who you will always miss.
