A Better Place To Get In Out Of The Rain Poem by Phillip Nine Mafunga

A Better Place To Get In Out Of The Rain

Hope
Golden bright rays
Beautiful and warm
Smiling face of the sun rise

Parting ways with the dark days of yore
Life's purple shoots of hope's embrace
In a large princely bowl contained
Beaming out a world so yearned for

To the broken and forsaken
Find they Him the solid rock
To the weak and sickly
To them, the balm of Gilead
To the lonely and burdened
A friend your burden to bear
