A Caravan Of Dreams Poem by Phillip Nine Mafunga

A Caravan Of Dreams

Sunrises
Sunsets
All in tow of the beauty in each other
Just to keep the smooth grooves flowing.

Mornings
Afternoons
Evenings
Nights
All times for a life shared
With loved ones and ‘frenemies' in dark shadows somewhere close by.

Winters
Summers
Autumns
Springs
Both smooth and rough edged cliff slides alike
Just for the move to groove.

Valleys
Rivers
Hills
Caves
Souls comforted and encouraged
Just for that silence in the wind to have a voice for once.

Cities
Towns
Villages
Farms
The silence thereof is but deafening
But there is more sound in the graveyards than before.

Blues from out of the blue
Yet a life with no rue
Plans or no plans, life is in its quality
For gentle rain is more pleasurable than a minute long downpour.
