A Better World Will Soon Emerge! Poem by Dr John Celes

One soul just shook the world
With his wisdom, honesty and love for truth,
And powered his way up the ladder of history
With his weapon called non-violence and peaceful protests.

One soul from every profession
Can change the world for good if only,
He/she is ready to sacrifice and toil selflessly
Just keeping the nation alone as goal.

The end of evil will come at last
Be it terrorism, corruption, social misbehavior,
For the caring God is watching all,
And the planet earth, He made with love.

Tomorrow will be a better one
Born from the ashes of a bad past,
And newer leaders and better citizens will surface
To take the world by great surprise.

Just pray your way each day and say,
‘God usher a better clime on earth;
Let no innocent suffer in anyway;
Send your angels, Lord to drive the devils away! '
