A Bight November Day Poem by Dwayne Rankin

A Bight November Day

Rating: 5.0

With skies so blue; so bright to see;
With the sun; its shining light.
It brings within a feeling of glee,
Now that, gone is the night.

The rains have left the air so clean;
But still the grass is wet below.
With a shining dampened green;
Fall is showing still a glow.

With still a few leaves hanging on;
Upon those branches on the trees.
But still those, too will soon be gone;
Soon freed by autumn's breeze.

So with a smile upon my face,
I look around in wonderment.
I see a world filled all with grace;
By God, to us now sent.
