A Blight In Humanity Poem by Francis Duggan

A Blight In Humanity

Racists come in all shades of black, white and brown
And they are not an asset to any city and town
The point in the equality in our human mortality they seem to miss
They are ignorant people and ignorance can be bliss
Of racists the Human World is not in need
And sad to think that they are not a rare breed
To their community or Country not a sense of pride
They are of humanity's uglier side
Since their idea of a fair go does not entail all
In their thinking as people they are narrow and small
Racist views ugliness only create
As it can lead the racist to racial crimes of hate
A blight in humanity of them one can say
There are far too many racists in the Human World of today.
