A Boy With A Pocketknife And A Memory Of Love That Once Was Poem by Nick Jankowski

A Boy With A Pocketknife And A Memory Of Love That Once Was

Rating: 4.8

This was the tree
we climbed up together in
I spent my summers here,
you by my side
Sometimes I come back
to look at the letters
inside a heart that we carved
Everything's changed since then
except for me,
and this tree,
and these feelings...
Okay
Only you've changed

This is very nicely done - the letters inside a heart that we carved - excellent. Are you really only 18? Very advanced stuff.
