A Broken Heart Poem by Saane Pahulu

A Broken Heart

Rating: 3.4

will i suffer my whole life,
coz your face is in the dark?
the laughter i once knew
only taunts me in my dreams,
the memories we shared were happy and colourful
now all i see is black and white...
i now hide from the light
ashamed that your gone,
i wonder the alone in the maze of my heart
searching for the love
you placed within these walls...
salty tears can never bring you back
even though they escape from
their cells in the dead of night.
your embraces, grown cold over the years,
cracking open my heart
spilling out the loneliness from its depth.
i'm fighting for control
though my life has crashed and struggling to survive...
just wait for me, no matter how long it takes
i'll keep your face locked in my broken heart
coz your life ended too soon while mine is just beginnig
i'll join you soon
to share my never ending love
and conquer the after lifetogether, forever...with you

i like this poem ALOT. kinda gave me the impression of a pair of friends who grew apart, but as the poem unrolled itself to me, i could see a more emotional background behind it. very compassionate, u mustve been close: ]. u dont really state anywhere, but it sounds like hes passed away? if so, may he RIP.
