A Candle In The Dark Poem by Nasha Abdul

As their halo slowlly dims
veiled by the fog and disappears
As the shadows shaded their light
and the day shifts into the night
you become their light, the golden sun
and they the lamp, the silver moon
As they mourn low in the silence
for their being, their lost essence
you bare your heart and strap your soul
you give them that to make them whole
As the fierce flames burn down their world
and there the debris scattered around
in their inferno, in their darkness
you create them heaven their own oasis
