A Car, The Keys, And A Driver Poem by Cristian Dolon

A Car, The Keys, And A Driver

Rating: 5.0

The road seems too long...
We won't make it if we walk along.

But I have an ideal very well planned...
That is sure to get us across the land.

To escape all the torment...
It'll help us breathe for a moment.

And I'm sure I won't become the only survivor...
All we need is a car, the keys, and a driver.

Moving quickly at lightning speed...
No one would ever catch us yes indeed.

With everything passing in a blur...
Leaving the past farther behind from where we were.

We will speed away with no end...
So the driver has to be a good friend.

That will ignore the speed limits all over...
But all we need is a car, the keys, and a driver.

Let's get away and never come back...
You grab food and I'll start to pack.

We'll be gone in no time flat...
No one will know where we were at.

Prepare for goodbyes and no more hellos...
We have to leave for that's just how it goes.

We'll tell them to go along the yellow divider...
Once we find a car, the keys, and a driver.
