A Final Decision Poem by Cristian Dolon

A Final Decision

You are the most marvelous...
Those moments with you were obvious.

Now you're locking the things to a memory...
Your potential is finally losing its energy.

Your face finds it hard to just hide...
The fact that leaving is what you want to decide.

I don't understand but I'll leave...
Even if nothing is left to believe.

But just before I forever go...
There is one more thing I have to let you know.

The time in love that we were together...
You made me happy and my life couldn't be better.

And even though I go I wish you the very best...
Maybe in the future all this we will forget.

No matter where you are...
You will always be my brightest star.

Yes I swear to you I speak the truth...
I will love you forever like an eternal youth.

If you ever remember your lost loves...
I hope I was the best one you can think of.

But I can't wait for you from winter to spring...
Even though in my life you are everything.

This is the decision you secretly kept...
So your invitation to leave I will accept.
