with the few who misuse power
when possessing independent

sources revenues streams of income

time events conspire
in circumstances sudden
you have to interact

with the few who misuse power
abuse misuse put down the poor
reap greed ungodly monetary gains

it might be a corporate organization
a business an employer an individual
a lone shark an opportunist predator

some must face
exploited a lot of this
desperate destitute

since tail returning
to red neck home towns
to employment desert

wastelands
run down regions
no hope

lost horizons
brave new world
opportunities

means migrating
to where work abundant
is flourishing

chronic labour shortages
mean better worker wages
in skill needed categories

better life living conditions
wait in tiger booming economies
riding high on boom waves

but boom bust economies
mean exploitation grey clouds
wait over storm gathering

horizons the ability to move
to transition into new careers
is grey cloud silver linning

being in the right place right time
is happiness opportunities sublime
a chance to avoid exploitation crime
