A Chick From Chesterfield Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

A Chick From Chesterfield

There was once this chick from Chesterfield,
Though cheated by spouse self-willed and chilled;
Her guts you scarce can guess—
She sold her wedding dress
Enough funds for divorce suit to build.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is no cooked up Limerick though many might be. Based it is on what actually happened in UK. It was her designer suit worth 2000 pounds. Her name was Samantha Wragg, but no rag story, this!
