A Child's Goodnight
The sweetest event to me,
one with diamond-like glimmers of eternity.
Those small, loving arms around
your neck.
That warm cheek next to yours.
And best of all, that blessed peck.
Plus, "Good Night, Mommy."
The cuddling with their favorite toy, oh!
Brings to this Mother and now a
Grandmother, truly, angelic, touching joy!
