A Christmas Prayer Poem by Dr John Celes

A Christmas Prayer

Rating: 5.0

Born in winter’s chillness;
In a far off manger;
O Sweet baby Jesus,
I adore you.

Born to be crucified,
And die for all our sins;
Redeemer of mankind;
I surrender my heart.

Lying on a bed of hay;
Bringing joy on Christmas day;
Giving peace to world- all say;
The truth, the light and way!
Forgive my sins, O Lord.

It is good to see that there are people that appreciate Jesus Christ and know he died for our sins. Christmas for some people is very commercial and about gifts. They should remember that, Jesus is the reason for the season. Very nice poem from the soul. : -))

We are blessed to have had this beautiful Baby Jesus given to us by Our Father In Heaven to die for our sins. He is a giving. loving, caring Father, I Love him with all my heart. A devine poem Dr. John Celes.--Melvina--

I don't know why, but I see this one as a prayer. All in all, I think it was a good piece to say onto the Lord. You are a great writer to read from.
