A Christmas Promise

Though you are with the Holy Family,
I'm still having a Christmas tree,
Glowing with every colored light
That made all our Christmas' bright.
As you look down upon me, dear,
Knowing you'll not, again, be near,
Without fail, I promise to do,
Have the lit tree say, "I love you."
