Before you go to sleep tonight
Before you turn off your bedroom light,
And after you have brushed your teeth
Remember, you might be uttering a bequeath.
After you get your clothes ready for tomorrow
Have them prepared for joy, and not for sorry,
Forgive everyone before you go to sleep
Then in the night or morning you won't ever weep.
When you say your goodnight prayer
Remember also God is always there,
Then into a peaceful night your mind will depart
As you sleep with a clean, clean heart.
