A Comforting Presence - Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

A continuous glow surrounds
as etched memories spark
Your spiritual presence
gives light to the vacuous dark

Funny how a setting
sun and damp rain
bring a comforting warmth
from a reoccurring flame

Flickering moments remind
how much I miss you
Like stinky blue streaked cheese
and boldly painted hues
