Haunted by your presence
Staring at the sky
Knowing I would never
Dare to rise and fly
Smitten by the sight
Of the fairest girl, so cute
A trembling in my body
My mouth - I stand there mute
Overwhelmed by mountains
Majestic ones at that
Convinced that if I tried to climb
My body would lay flat
Looking back at choices
I know for sure one day
That I will overcome you
My fear that I obey
