Us dancing,
Your lips meeting
Mine.

Can still
Feel your hands
Holding me so
Close

Wanting
To let go
But do I want
You?

Yes,
You are
Kind, and not
Unattractive.
Still…

You
Have not
Shown interest
In me until
Now.

Though
I may
Have come on
Too strongly for
You,

What
Will take
Place later?
Will we date or
Hate?

But…
When we
Were dancing,
I felt oddly
Warm.

Could
We have,
In that dance,
Linked our souls as
One?

It
Truly
Felt that way,
As if it was
Love

That
Joined us
Together
As one spirit
Then.

Dance of
The souls…is
It possible?
Yes.

But
Likely?
I doubt it.
Yet still, it felt
Real.

Dance of
Two souls in
The spinning lights,
Joined.

One
Essence,
One heart,
One entity…
