A Day To Remember Poem by Erin McGrew

A Day To Remember

Can a nation be saved in a day?
Can a country be brought forth in a moment?
Missions.Me organizes innovative international outreaches. Whether it is introducing a street orphan to their new home, leading thousands in a prayer of salvation, offering medical relief to the suffering, or hosting large missions teams across the world, Missions.Me connects willing hearts to the vast harvest by pushing the limits of traditional missions and delivering high-impact ministry to cities and nations across the globe.
Dominic Russo is a speaker, a humanitarian, and an innovator in international missions. At the young age of 20, Dominic founded Missions.Me and began organizing strategic outreach campaigns in cities across Latin America. These multifaceted campaigns include hundreds of missionary volunteers, large-scale relief projects, and collaborative partnerships with local political and religious leaders. In 2011, Dominic launched the "1Nation1Day" initiative in Honduras - a project that has attracted the largest foreign missions team in history and was officially declared a national holiday by the Honduran President. Dominic authored the book 'Do Not Say I Am Too Young' to motivate people to seize their destiny regardless of their age. Dominic's story reverberates with inspiration and stirs hearts to dream of a life fully dedicated to impacting people. In 2010, Dominic's wife Lindsay founded Angel House - an organization that has provided 34 permanent rescue homes for nearly 1,000 abandoned street children and orphans in Asia.
JOIN THE TEAM
Be a part of the largest missions team in history;
1NATION1DAY is recruiting a team of 2,000 passionate missionaries to personally reach out to every person in the nation. This team will strategically infiltrate nearly every high school, church and capital city in the entire nation bringing impacting dramas, one on one prayer, practical aid and medical assistance.
Ensuring Lasting Impact
1NATION1DAY culminates on July 20,2013, but that is not the end. It is the beginning.1N1D is committed to long term sustainability and ensuring the impact is nurtured and grown. Not only will the people of this nation hear and see the love of Jesus in action (many for the first time) , they will also be ushered into local churches and encouraged to join new believers classes where they can learn about this love in depth.1N1D has partnered with almost every local church and pastor in the nation and established a three step strategy to create LASTING impact and culture change.
HERE IS HOW WE ARE WORKING TOWARDS A BETTER HONDURAS:

#1

FILL THE LOCAL CHURCH

All five 1N1D action initiatives will be accomplished in direct partnership with the local churches of Honduras. Pastors networks in every state are working in connection with the campaign to ensure every new believer is connected to a local church within days of the event.

#2

EQUIP CHURCH LEADERS

It is the vision of 1N1D to equip every pastor in the nation with discipleship materials. The distribution of these materials will transpire at each of the national leadership conferences on July 19,2013 along with live in-depth training on church growth.

#3

TRAIN NEW BELIEVERS

1N1D has created a 12 week new believers course that will be made available electronically to every person attending a 1N1D event. Partnered with new believers classes at local churches, this program will nurture and grow the powerful transformation inside each attendee.

In late 2011, President Lobo-Sosa of Honduras signed a resolution declaring 1Nation1Day a national holiday. He also gave signed legal authorization and full support for every 1Nation1Day initiative.

The President has also agreed to appear on international television promoting the events and has personally guaranteed his attendance on the last night.

On July 19,2013, hundreds of Honduras' political leaders will attend a political conference in the heart of the nation's capital. American and Honduran influencers will address the core issues in the nation and conclude with a salvation message.

On Saturday July 20th,2013, the week-long campaign will culminate in one historic day and one ground-breaking moment that will shake the entire nation at its core. 18 ministries will host 18 outreaches in the 18 largest venues in the heart of all 18 capital cities. Thousands will gather in their city and millions will watch the live television broadcast as it airs throughout every corner of Honduras, all of Latin America, and around the world. I guess you could call it, a day to remember.
