A Delicate Balance Poem by Sonya Florentino

A Delicate Balance

Rating: 5.0

I think I understand life
a little bit more
It’s not such a mystery after all

It’s all about

Night and Day
Dark and Light
Good and Bad
Wrong and Right

Joy and Pain
Loss and Gain
Old and Young
Weak and Strong

Hard and Soft
Yin and Yang
And me...
Toterring in between

... male and female, accept and reject, stop and go... ahh, yes that narrow line which when we follow that straight and narrow with no extremes with which to compare - that is what puts the interest into life and all of its choices. Great perspicacity plunging the reader into an awareness that is so obvious it is invsible.

We must all be aware of that delicate balance. In your poetry, I believe you achieve it, Sonya. You are a fine wordsmith. Warm regards, Sandra

I really enjoyed reading this poem. You're a great poet, with a little more work, you can become an even greater one.
