the desire for peace

refreshes our soul
mind uplifts the heart
a prayer for peace
is echoed by billions
billions of people
who desire peace

prosperity not cruel wars
a love of peace beauty
is creation etched in souls
creation etched into all life
a desire for a masterpiece
for peace transcends us
