A Dinner Table Set For Two By Lantern Light Poem by Terence George Craddock

among beach white dusk gold grains of sand
among hand scattered fragrant red rose petals,
near dusk blue ocean calm elegant palm trees still;

nine ghost vapour blue ephemeral long lanterns
air suspended from four strong trunk palm trees hang,
spectral floating blue jellyfish swim in air ocean;

hover in tranquil held breath time between dusk and dark;

as night draws in copper lanterns upon white sand
are lit and the circle of torchlight reveals the ghost,
blue lanterns in the sky leading to a stairway into heaven;

a table is set a table for two overlooking an ocean blue
a romantic meal a romantic night set with lantern light,
a meal set perfection food served for two for beautiful you;
