A Divorce Poem by Sankhajit Bhattacharjee

A Divorce

Rating: 5.0

Hubby was out of station for more than a year,
his family was at home-
wireless connection faded like the evening sun:
talks might be proceeding
but they could not touch each other.

He returned and discovered-
an unnecessary flower was plucked from his garden:
his wife aborted...

By the evening when the sun was about to droop,
he was ready with papers.
Other side murmured, 'Sorry...Please...'.
But darkness of night entered through the glass window
and engulfed the room.

If mistake is dust, rectification is wind-
wind drives away dust.
Here wind drove away dust no doubt
but the latter made hubby's dress dirty!

If mistake is dust, rectification is wind- wind drives away dust. Here wind drove away dust no doubt but the latter made hubby's dress dirty! ....wise writings.... Divorce is a separation of destructive heart by misunderstanding on silly matter.....
