A Donkey Poem by Rajesh Thankappan

I am a donkey
And I do bray,
But make no fun of me
I do pray,
I have a big head
And two large ears,
A proud tail
With short hair,
If you so wish
You can call me an ass
People think I am stupid
Alas! Alack! Alas!



Very recently I have written some poems that introduces different animals and birds to children, and this poem is one among them.I hope children shallfind it interesting, both for reading and recitation.
