Its puts a smile on my face
To see me walking in a world
Where there’s peace as far as eyes can gaze
Where my people don’t their hands fold
Before fools to seek a penny to serve their needs
As I stand among the greatest brotherhood ever seen
Where the rich don’t eat until the poor feeds
His kin and him with their riches, green and clean
It feels so proud, puts a smile on my face
But there’s something in my heart I can’t relate
‘Cause I’m still here amidst of what has gone
And is to come, yet there’s a long way to go and plod on
To reach the world I imagined of
But I would not let reality turn me off
So let the word remain between me and you
‘Cause someday I’ll see my dream, but as a dream come true!
