A Good Night Sleep Poem by Syed Mizbahuddeen

A Good Night Sleep

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes my heart burdened be,
Like the sun setting across the sea,
By bad schooling and bad memories,
And the past, swarming like honey bees

I’m tired of pleasing people,
Because no one is really pleased,
They say, forget what’d hurt you,
But don’t forget what it teach’d, (taught)

I would try not to forget a thing,
But not by any means,
Cause I try and forget everything,
To get a good night sleep
