A Dream Come True - Poem by Tanzila Rehmat
I'm walking through wild woods all alone, wonder why?
Where's our little cage; where's that Little Sky!
And the songs you'd written lying in my lap
Yes the ones we sweetly swapped!
Get back under that shadowy tree
We'd sit serenely and in my eyes you'll see-
The love that's profound and true as death
The one that's vital and soft as your breath!
You've left appearing before my eyelashes at night
Yes, you don't come in my dreams; you're nowhere in the sight!
I reckon if you have become my delusion
Our love's become an uncertainty prompting bare confusion!
But I'd always wish you by my side
These are my feelings I'd never be able to hide!
I want to write a letter of love to none but you
I believe, I believe that my dream will come true!
