A Few More Eco-Critical English Poems Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

A Few More Eco-Critical English Poems

Tennyson's The Brook
I have not forgotten it,
I love to remember it,
Man will go, man will come
But I shall go on for ever,
Masefield's Sea Fever
I have not found a poem like this,
Sea fever gripping him
And he going for the call
Of sea birds and the foam and spray of waves,
Mare's The Listeners
Taking to the haunted house
Of the eerie silence, the moon shining over,
The horse champing grass,
Teh unknown visitor knocking at an unknown,
Undisclosed destination
But the answer coming to nought
With the strange listeners listening
Just like meetings with the aerials
And Marth's telling of stories to children
In the hazel glen keeping us spell-bound.
